Queen for a Day As Debbie Hormel, QFAD Royal Oak Beaumont Chairperson wrote on the QFAD website - “Enchanted, spellbinding and spectacular are just some of the words I can think to describe the tea party that was given for Mackenzie at the Tea Party Castle. Karen Lowery generously threw a fantasy-filled party for Mackenzie and her girlfriends. After picking out a royal gown to wear, they were treated to the Princess Parlor for hair and makeup, etiquette lessons, tea, and dinner served on the finest china. They had the girls put on a fashion show in their princess gowns; there was a visit from Prince Charming himself and even Santa Claus! It was an evening that none of us wanted to end. From the beautiful room to the dance with her own Daddy, Mackenzie, her girlfriends and the adults were mesmerized by the wonderfully orchestrated details. Karen, your generosity will not be forgotten. QFAD thanks you for making our little Mackenzie a real Princess”. |
